Custom Industrial Knife Manufacturing

One-Stop Non-Standard Blade Customization

Meirente provides one-stop custom industrial knife manufacturing for equipment manufacturers and industrial users. We make non-standard blades to drawings or samples and coordinate specification review, production, inspection, packing and delivery for your project. OEM supply and custom replacement knives are both supported.

Our goal is not simply to copy an outline. We help confirm the dimensions, material, edge geometry, tolerance priorities, inspection method, packing and repeat-order requirements that influence how the blade performs in the customer’s machine.

Technical Intake

A useful RFQ includes the blade drawing or sample size, processed material, machine position, line speed, temperature, target cut quality, expected service life, current failure mode, quantity, destination and required delivery window. When a complete drawing is unavailable, marked photos and a used sample can help organize the first review.

Drawing and Manufacturability Review

The engineering review checks whether dimensions, tolerances, material and edge features are complete and compatible with production. Potential conflicts—such as an impractical corner radius, unclear bevel direction, missing datum or tolerance that does not match the working condition—should be resolved before a sample is made.

Material and Edge Recommendation

Material and edge decisions are reviewed against wear, impact, corrosion, temperature, cutting pressure and regrinding expectations. The most expensive material is not automatically the best choice; the correct objective is stable cutting performance and reasonable total operating cost.

Sample, Trial and Approval

For new or high-risk applications, a sample or trial batch can be used to confirm fit, cutting quality and wear behavior. Feedback should include installation observations, line conditions, cut-edge photos, operating hours and the location of any wear or damage. Changes are documented before mass production.

Production, Inspection and Repeat Supply

After approval, production follows the confirmed drawing and commercial requirements. Inspection points, labeling and packing are matched to the project. Keeping a controlled item number and revision reference helps future orders use the correct specification instead of relying on email memory.

Can you make a blade without a formal drawing?

A sample, dimensioned sketch, machine model and clear photos can begin the review. A controlled drawing should be confirmed before final production.

What can be customized?

Dimensions, holes, slots, keyways, tooth profiles, bevel direction, edge angle, material, hardness route, surface finish, coating and packing can be reviewed for the application.

Do you support prototype or trial quantities?

Trial requirements can be discussed after the drawing, material, process and inspection scope are reviewed. Availability and lead time depend on the project.

How should we evaluate a trial blade?

Record fit, cut quality, line speed, operating time, downtime, wear location, burrs, dust, heat, noise and any chipping or deformation.

Can you keep the specification for repeat orders?

Use a controlled item number and drawing revision so repeat orders can reference the approved specification and recorded changes.
