Ceramic Block and Green Sheet Cutting
MLCC ceramic block cutting blades
For cutting laminated ceramic green blocks in MLCC production. Confirm the block thickness, required cutting depth, blade-holder interface and cutting direction when specifying the knife.
Ceramic green sheet cutting blades
For cutting single-layer ceramic green sheets. Confirm the sheet thickness, supporting material, mounting arrangement and required cut before selecting the blade geometry.
The two applications do not automatically use the same blade specification. Match each configuration to its drawing and process requirements.

Four thickness options are available for each reference length. Thickness tolerance: 0.005 mm. Confirm the tolerance limits, edge profile, mounting details and application on the approved drawing before ordering.

Inspection and Surface Requirements

Inspection covers blade geometry, the cutting edge and the condition of the blade surface. Measurement positions and acceptance criteria are defined in the approved drawing.
- Check straightness and blade centering against the drawing.
- Inspect the edge under magnification for notches and other defects.
- Check that the surface is free of foreign matter.
- Reject blades with fractures, breakage or other damage.
The 0.005 mm thickness tolerance applies to thickness only; it is not a general tolerance for every blade dimension. Other dimensional tolerances and microscopic edge acceptance limits are agreed for the specified configuration.
Custom MLCC Blades for Your Equipment
For new equipment or replacement knives, we review the machine brand and model together with your blade drawing, sample and holder details. Customization is based on the actual mounting interface and cutting process, rather than the equipment brand alone.
Share the blade length, width and thickness, clamping area, edge geometry, cutting depth and material being cut. These details allow the blade configuration and inspection requirements to be agreed for your equipment before manufacture.
