HSS-M2 Teflon-Coated Hot-Cut Pelletizer Blades
MEIRENTE manufactures HSS-M2 hot-cut pelletizer blades and applies a high-temperature Teflon anti-stick coating to the finished blade. This combination helps prevent hot plastic from sticking to the blade and makes the knife more durable in pelletizing service.

Why Use an Anti-Stick Coating for Pelletizer Blades?
During hot-cut plastic pelletizing, softened material can adhere to an uncoated blade face and build up around the cutting area. MEIRENTE applies the Teflon coating after manufacturing the blade to create an anti-stick surface for this working condition.
These non-stick pelletizer blades reduce plastic adhesion, help the cut material release and keep the working face cleaner. Less buildup also makes routine cleaning easier and helps the blade maintain stable cutting for longer.
M2 High-Speed Steel Plus Teflon Coating
The blade body is HSS-M2, also known as M2 high-speed steel. Its strength, wear resistance and heat resistance give the cutting edge a more durable foundation than ordinary carbon steel. We then add the high-temperature anti-stick coating to improve the blade surface for hot plastic contact.
By combining the M2 high-speed steel body with our coating process, these long-life hot-cut pelletizer blades can achieve more than 10 times the service life of ordinary carbon-steel blades. The result is a blade designed for both wear resistance and reduced plastic sticking.

MEIRENTE manufactures custom coated pelletizer blades in different shapes, including straight blades with round mounting holes, elongated slots and special profiles. We supply pelletizer blades made to drawings or samples, including HSS-M2 Teflon-coated pelletizer knives.
